SoundScape Music Visualizer

Soundscape is an interactive music visualization program that reacts to music being played. The point of the program is to create visual representations of the dynamic qualities of music. By combining audio and visual aspects, the experience is greatly enhanced making something memorable for the viewer. The program was designed and created in Processing by using the Java language. It works by taking in various audio inputs from a song and converting them into variables that then affect the visuals of the program. The viewer is “flying over” a digital landscape that is constantly changing as it reacts to the music. The program also allows the user to change the color of the landscape and the background color of the program. Giving the program an amount of interactivity further engages the viewer of the program.
